Doctoral Candidate Training Event

EDICT Kick-Off & First Training Event

The EDICT Kick-Off Training Event marks the start of our training programme, bringing together our doctoral candidates with supervisors from across our institutions for the first time.

The event provided an opportunity for candidates to meet one another and begin building the skills and collaborations that will shape their research on equity, diversity and inclusion in clinical trials.

  • Welcome and introduction to the EDICT Doctoral Network
  • Training sessions on Standing Up for Science and Patient and Public Involvement (PPIE) in clinical trials
  • Foundational training on equity, diversity and inclusion in clinical trials
